I’m going to try something here… live blogging the Eagles / Giants game. I might not make it to the end of the game (I have to get up early tomorrow) but we’ll see how far I get. 8:19pm – They just said Westbrook is not playing… uh oh. 8:24pm – Eagles kickoff, Giants down [...]

What an incredible finish! The Phillies seem to have finally earned the nickname “The Fighting Phils” by coming from 7 games back to overtake the Mets. Of course the Mets helped tremendously by completely collapsing in the stretch, but it’s important to note that the Phillies swept the Mets to get that collapse started. So, [...]

Well, another good week! A lot of podcast shows (6) played songs from the album last week and the Internet Radio Shows have been playing 3 songs quite a bit: When The World Comes Down On You, Rittenhouse Square, and Save Me. I’m starting to run low on CDs (I didn’t get a ton made), [...]

Here’s an excellent report of the dinner with Iranian President Ahmadinejad! He had dinner with a number of leading American journalists. I read reports that the dinner took place, but I haven’t seen any news articles or reports telling what was discussed (I probably just missed them). My dinner with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad In some respects [...]

Wow! It’s been a week since Rittenhouse Square was released and I’m very happy with the response it’s received. So I thought I’d give everyone an update on what’s been happening: First, I want to thank each of you that bought a CD! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your support really means a lot [...]

The Phillies don’t have a lot of room for error, so it’s kind of depressing to note that they lost to the Nats today and the Mets pulled one out against the Marlins in extra innings: Mets win ‘big one,’ move closer to East crown

I don’t think the Eagles have scored this many points since…… the last time they played the Lions. I don’t know if they righted the ship or not, but this was pretty impressive all around. Maybe it was the blue and gold uniforms. Maybe it was the fans booing McNabb during the preshow. Maybe the [...]

When you hear the term “IED” mentioned during news reports of attacks on the troops in Iraq, this is what they are talking about: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9v5jPtXsO9M Luckily it looks like no one got hurt with this one. IEDs, or Improvised Explosive Devices, are either buried in the roadway or planted in culverts that run under roads [...]

They’re still in it. And it doesn’t look good for the Mets: Phillies rally, inch closer to Mets in NL East

The last part of a series of dispatches from Michael Yon in Iraq: Some of the 1920s were about 300 meters down the road by now, and walking into the ambush that had apparently been set for us. BOOOOOMMMM! The detonation looked like it must have killed five or ten of them. What comes next [...]

LOL Let’s see… 1. I anchored a news segment that used forged documents to attack the President. 2. I then refused to acknowledge that the documents were forged. 3. After evidence is produced to prove the documents are forged, I still stand by the story by saying it was still “true” – the infamous “Fake [...]

It seems like whenever his skills are in question, he throws this kind of stuff out there: McNabb: Black QBs face greater scrutiny In an interview on HBO’s “Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel” to be broadcast Tuesday, McNabb said black quarterbacks “have to do a little bit extra” because there are relatively few of them, [...]

I think this might be a hoax and poor John Kerry (God, I can’t believe I just wrote that!) is caught in the middle… at least I hope that’s the case. If not, then this is a great case of out of control cops. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HgrFSHZfD1o
