Fall Soccer Season is starting…
Well, it’s that time of year. We’ve taken one whole month off from soccer and it’s time to start up again.
Lindsey and Lauren’s teams started practicing this week. They’ve been practicing with the New York Red Bulls professional soccer club. They’ve done this for the past 2 years and I have to say, I quite enjoy watching my kids getting yelled at by some burly soccer players from England or Australia, etc. All kidding aside, they learn a lot and the Red Bull players make sure it’s fun.
Another soccer parent sent me this picture which pretty much somes up what it is like to have a child on a travel soccer team:
While it’s not that bad, on any given Saturday in the fall and spring we travel anywhere from Princeton on down to Cape May for soccer games. And then there’s tournarments in between!
