New Music: Save Me
I finished this last week, but forgot to post anything about it…
Save Me is kinda grungy with a nod towards Nirvana / Pearl Jam. I’ve been writing alot of acoustic-based music lately, so I’ve been itching to get heavy. Also, I’ve been listening to the new Rush album (Snakes and Arrows) which has influenced me. I’ve been kicking this song around for about 6 weeks now trying to figure out the best way to record it. It started out as an acoustic number but wasn’t really cutting it. The grunge sound seems to work.
I’m going to redo the vocals (especially the bridge), but other than that, it’s finished.
