Gonzales Resigns
Well, the big news tonight is the resignation of AG Gonzales. And I say good riddance. While he didn’t do anything wrong and the Democrats were desperately trying to pin the US Attorney firings on him, it quickly became apparent that he was mismanaging the Justice Dept and couldn’t even competently answer Senators’ questions. Why did it take President Bush so long though? Just like Rummy, Mark Brown (FEMA) and others, Bush can be loyal to a fault. That will become his legacy.
